I put this on my facebook, but I think there are a few people on here who may be interested too.

My first full season of speed events in the HSA Speed Championship came to a close yesterday, and a very good season it has been too! A few statistics:

12 of the 13 events entered resulted in points, 1 was cancelled due to falling trees.

During the 12 events (circa 120 runs), only 2 runs were not taken due to technical issues.

In 11 of those events I beat my father, at Prescott he finally beat me (after 5 seaons!).

84 points, 2nd (/9) in class, 23rd (/99) overall.

5 event class wins, 3 championship class wins.

1 championship class record

1 Fastest Time of the Day

And the conclusion? Definite room for improvement next season!

Well done to Matt Hillam on winning both my class (Modified Specialist Production) and the overall championship.
