I am just pondering a direction to go in with the St170 engine I have. THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD and No, I am not selling it bit by
bit.
As the seller I am bound to think my item is worth more than its bound to make in these tough times and knowing you tight fisted lot, visa versa.
So a poll to gauge an idea of what my item is worth to some one elts
The item.
Zetec engine package.
Pre aug 1995 2.0 zetec engine, number intact and I have a letter from Ford to state the year of manufacture. (No cat needed for iva)
The engine was bought from a breakers and the receipt shows around 75k.
Every bearing, seal and gasket ect was replaced because I could with receipts from Burton power.
1.8 water pump from Scholar engines.
Low level sump from Scholar engines.
Alternator kit from Dunnell Engines.
Fisher sports cars four branch manifold.
1.8 flywheel and new still in the box clutch.
new still in the box Motor craft starter motor
Ginetta inlet manifold.
Ford ecu rewired and running very well.
New still in the box fuel pump.
Mt75 gear box (direct from donor)
Westfield thrust bearing.
So a full engine package.
Only thing different is the water rail was replaced with the ford stat because it works better.
A guy sold a 1800 zetec on the bay the other day, allegedly an omex built unit(!). std sump, but came with an (unspecified) CVH sump as well. Type 9
box fitted, propshaft for a marina, no engine management and it was on the isle of wight
Had a retro ford hydraulic CSC fitted (unused) and some other odds and ends. sold for £410.
