New Tiger Cat E1 owner - Coventry area
MP3C - 6/6/13 at 10:46 AM

Hi Guys,

Finally got myself a 2008 Tiger Cat E1 kit car! (pictures hopefully included) was out in it all last weekend! so unfortunately got a sun burnt forehead now - totally worth it though.
I've wanted to own one for about 2 years and finally managed to save enough and get one at the right price!

Has a 2.0lt Pinto engine in it and sounds amazing!

Looking forward to talking to you all and getting stuck in! Hopefully some people around in the area as well, as its more enjoyable in a group.

Thanks,

Matt

Welcome aboard Matt. I'm a fellow Tiger owner and live near Hinckley so not too far from you. There are a few of us in Hinckley area that meet up occasionally. We will no doubt be doing the Newark show in a convoy.

Don't crash yours this time though James!!!

Have you done anything with the wiring loom yet? BTW I managed to get my alternator parts last night, the Ebay guy was awesome so should have it back on the road tonight

Ha sweet! That was ridiculously quick. I'm putting the fan on at the moment. Got the reaming tool and rubber tank straps today, so the tank can go in soon, and get the wee beastie fired up

You should have built it then before I come back! If you're at the stage where you're turning over the engine then you should only have a few little more bits to do!

Car looks nice.

That looks like Broadstreet rugby club in the background ?

I'm over in Burbage, so just down the road.

Cheers

Tim.

It is Broadstreet rugby club, however I am never attempting to go in there again, that speed bump on the way in caught my sump :S

Burbage isn't too far away if i recall, about 4 - 5 miles?

Matt

Yes, just a couple of minutes down the M69 to the A5 junction. To be honest, I don't know many of the local LCBers, but there are quite a few around that I happen to see on the road and have local locations in their profile. My car is not on the road at the moment, but I still like to lurk on here.
