What's it worth
Locost_col - 22/2/14 at 08:25 PM

Ok so been thinking a lot lately about parting with my project. New baby on the way and house move means could do with the funds and not sure if I'll ever finish.

Locost built to the Ron champion chassis designs. Running a 1600 xflow with the 5 bearing 711block. Brand new 13 x 7 john brown minilites. Nose is nearly finished so will paint that and get some more photos. Runs and drives, just needs interior finishing and iva.

I'll do a full write up over weekend

What's it worth??

As it stands not a lot, I would get it finished and through IVA as it will be worth a lot more that way!

It will but I don't think I'm gonna have the time hence the question.

It's only worth what someone will pay
It looks great but IVA + registration + road tax + transport to IVA has got to knock 1k off the figure
2 to 4K
Whilst I love the Crossflow many prefer Zetec or better when buying

As stated finish it or stick it garage for when you do get some time

thinking of selling my tiger avon as im going to be working out of the country for a year or so
but I managed to get it SVA (IVA now) just need mot and tax
but snapper right it's only worth what someone will pay

What price do you think or hope its worth ?

For any one to gauge value you want some more pictures and a break down of what parts are used.

Eg A good set of instruments will start at £400, a new set of shocks the same I would say its pointless adding up what its cost and starting there.

As above
It needs a full spec and as many photos as you can tbh
+ a breakdown of exactly what needs doing to finish it.

Its worth a lot more tested but you already know that and it'll be up to a potential purchaser to work a budget out accordingly.

Shame really because it looks a nice car and i always think Minilites set the 7 off nicely

managed to get a picture the avon today
this is on an F plate
it has a 205 block pinto running on r1 bike carbs with the pinto mechanical fuel pump
It has tiger seats (drivers side adjustable) 4 point harness with 2200 mile on the clock
I would like £3000 for it
but realistically I think that I would only get £2500 I think looking at all the other Avon's online
