How long does it take them to change my engine details, don't they know summer is calling
I think they do it on purpose lol
It took them 6 weeks to register my Indy instead of the 2 they state
Have you phoned them to confirm they received your document?

Will try them today, sent all the relevant paper work and garage report. I think its as my road tax should come down as going from car engine to bike.
Which bike engine you gone for?
I've got an r1 in mine and only just got it on the road, wow it's quick!!
Went from 1700 x-flow to ZX9, exhaust to go on this week end and finish the air box and wire up, cant wait to get it out.
Started with a FZR1000 just about finished the conversion and the gear box decided not to play so out it came as the ZX9 came up.
Took them about 3 weeks for them to change mine, UP tho, from 1275 to 3946CC.
May take a bit longer with it being a change (DOWN) I would fully expect some more questions from them before you get the v5 back.
Thinking the same thing, e-mailed them and got an automatic reply back saying they would get in touch within 3 days. Gives me a bit time to get finished.
Bloody hell Steve after replying to the post i got an e-mail bback from DVLA asking me to confirm .......... the colour so they can speed things up ????
Well confirmation back its issued and on its way Wahoo
Nice, strange they took notice of your email so quickly, but who cares just in time for summer!
Thats what i thought usually they keep mucking about, they must have had KPI's to hit or had nowt to do, they did say it was issued 6/4/2014 so
why its not been sent before now.
But glads its on its way.
Well as good as there word it arrived today
