Recently I have found this forum and I am delighted that I am not alone (as my wife like to say). 12 months ago I have decided to activate some tools and do something that I have dreamed for couple of years. To build my own car.

Now I have 3 projects. Locost that is based on Ron's bible (chassis 1 in my photo archive). My own design based on toyota AE86 (chassis2 - 4age engine & T50 gearbox) with sierra cossworth rear diff and axels. And mid engine car with Toyota celica 3S GE engine. This last project is cut and rewelded few times. Chassis 1 is based on ford escort 1,3 from 1981 and is used as a prototype to see how much errors (difference) is between Autocad drawing and finished product. A lot.

Right now I am about to finish rear uprights to fit cosworth rear axels...

For now I have no questions but There will be...

Just watch out for some people who get offended very easily and like to start arguments (you will soon find patterns)
