Hidden away in one of the pages is an article saying that Westfield wanted to get into the South Africa and had appointed their new agents there...

They are wanting to make in roads to BIRKINS home turf.
The problem is that the exchange rate is not in westys favour. I suspect that westfield is looking longterm to manufacture out there and import back
to the uk. This is to get outside the redtape bindings of the EEC and max profits here.
South Africa has a good engineering sector a throw back from the dark days when they had the rest of the world gang up on them.......
