Making it user friendly.....

Ok, so I'm about to embark on a series of minor mods to make my car a bit more user friendly for the road and future touring trips. The car's currently in it's basic IVA friendly / track state with no frills at all.

Firstly I've added some padding to the GRP seats. Which is an improvement but they're still a bit figure hugging in the ribcage departmant, so may still get swapped out.

Next I'm adding a GPS mount on the dash for my Garmin and a twin USB and 12v ciggy socket too, to power it and charge phones etc. Anything else I should consider?

Next, storage. I have a small lockable boot and a small glove box, which I'm yet to fit a lockable lid to. But I'd like some storage that's reachable from the drivers seat. Looking to fit a stick on net storage pocket either side of the tunnel for bits and bobs. What about a storage box fixed to the bulkhead between the seats? Anybody recommend anything, preferably lockable and weatherproof?

And lastly, I'm probably due a helmet refresh / upgrade and am looking at Bluetooth ones. Mostly to listen to music whilst travelling but to also take calls (or at least to know I've got a call!!) on the move. Anyone had success using these? This one has an intercom facility to talk to your passenger or other cars, if they have a similar facility (obviously )
