Mikalor or Mikalor style hose clamp supplier
Jeffers_S13 - 3/2/05 at 11:30 AM

Anyone know a supplier of said hose clamps or a good copy of them at reasonable price ?

I saw a guy at the Newark show selling them last year, he had loads of different sizes on a big rack, not sure if they were the genuine article but were stainless steel and looked the part. I didnt know how many of what size or anything I needed then so didnt buy any, bugger.

Thanks

James

Try here!

Probably a last resort, as they work out expensive with P&P and stuff.
I'll look up where I got mine from, and let you know.

Went to the website but didnt think they'd sell them direct so didnt even bother to hunt around !

That sounds like it might be him/it, he was also selling lots of nuts and bolts and stuff if I remember right, does he have a website ?

Try think automotive.

http://www.thinkauto.com

If you call them there is a chance they may give you discount as well if you mention the site.

Thanks guys, and that thinkauto place will come in handy, now added to favourites list,

They are real nice people down there at think auto, they are also serios petrol heads.

They also supply petrol caps, oil coolers and similar to places like Demon Thieves (anything called 'Mocal', for a start). It's 'interesting' to compare prices...

I got one from a motorbike shop in preston on saturday.

He charged me £2 for a 51-55mm genuine mikalor.

Here it is;-

Fast Line Superbike Centre Ltd127-129, Church St, Preston, Lancashire PR1 3BT
Tel: 01772 902606

My advice is ring some bike accessory shops, they should have what you want.

Peter.

Check out your local hydraulic suppliers/engineers . Have one next door to me at work who supplied clamp at very low cost.
