Seem to have hit a brick wall, plenty to do , First daughters boy friends car Citroen ZX Volcane, needed mot - ave a quick look dad before he takes it in - needed 2 x rear brake cylinders, 2x rear flexi hoses, rear shoes, N/S wheel bearing, & finally 2 x front drive shaft boots.more than the heap was worth if a garage did it all !!!! did all that with car half out the garage, could'nt move kit up anymore!
It sailed the mot but still owed £120 for the parts, then daughters car needed MOT, luckily only exhaust needed welding up & handbrake adjusted, gave it a service for good measure, sailed mot but still owed £25 for service bits ! mug or what.
No wonder I'm struggling to work up enthusiasm to finish chopping sump and shorten oil pick up.
Still feel better for the moan, any one got any adrenalin ?

its always hard when you run out of steam - at least the kids will be grateful though!

since you're building an MK, id recommend a saturday visit and blag a ride - does wonders for the motivation when you remind yourself how fun it is!

if that doesnt work, just buy a modded sump and pipe - its not worth losing your dream over a few quid.
