Heres the story,

I have provisionally sold my F27 and out of the sale money after a New shed has been bough i will have 2 grand left to go towards my new build.

That 2K will see my already aquired Triton 'book' chassis on the road as i have been aquiring bits and bobs for it over the last year so the only expensive bits left to get are the seats, bodywork and possibly clocks (trying to use bike clocks), i am fully aware that there are sundry items to buy along the way but the 2K will see it on the road for sure.

My alternative option is to sell my 'book' chassis as rolling inc brakes/ lines
rear diff Non LSD/shafts,
4 GTS dampers(new)
roll over hoops (cobra stylee)
steering rack,

and use the money from this little lot to put with my 2K and then plump for an MK Indy/ GTS/or MNR vortex.

My question is how much do you reckon i could sell the rolling triton chassis for?

Or would i be best breaking it?

cortina uprights
reconned M16 callipers,
4 x GTS dampers (new)

Your thoughts please - ideally i would like to have enough money to start with and not need to add to it during the build time.

I already have my engine, clocks, seatbelts, wheels and tyres all of which can be carried over into the MK/MNR/GTS kit.

id break it in bits on ebay - as many bits as possible and the chassis bear. assuming you decide to sell that is, i dont know what id do in your shoes! was you first car (or indeed any past car) scratch built? if so, id sell and buy a kit. Having never completed a scratch build myself i am absolutely determined to finish this one before i buy a kit!

If you do decide to sell the chassis, i know someone who may be interested. In fact he may be interested in a rolling chassis. If you have any pics can you email them to me. Email address should be below.

Any idea what you are looking for it? You need at least £4000 for a fully built indy, i doubt you would get the extra money from the book chassis and parts though.

And as for how much i want for the rolling chassis - that was the point of my first post to which im still none the wiser!

I dont have a garage at the moment and i have nothing assembled to take photos of im afraid because im not going to put suspension etc on and then leave it outside under a tarp to sieze up and have my reconned callipers sieze too
