rayward - 4/4/05 at 07:06 PM

I am going to have to leave my newly acquired Locost on the drive until my garage is tidier, I want to buy a cover before it gets here on wednesday but need to make sure i buy one long enough,

Does anyone know the rough length of a completed car??

Thanks in advance

Ray

Not a great deal under 3.5 metres I believe.

I dont think my garage will take 3.5m and a lawn mower.

Is a 'book' car much less than 3.5m (he asks with a grim expression)?

No.

To be honest, 3.6m is much more comfortable.

The nose cone projects a decent bit forward of the front wheels.

John F. Former owner of an ungaraged book locost which I kept in a plastic tent 3.6m long.

You will just have to leave the lawn mowewr outside. Downside of which is that you might have to use it more often, meaning that the locost will never get out of the garage again.

I am clearing the crap out of the garage so I can begin my build. Seems I have some more space to find.....

I assumed the width would be the worst restriction, how wide would a finished +4 end up?
