any ideas if peugeot alloys require any modifing to fit sierra hubs or are they a straight bolt on and forget thinking about the 205/309 15 "gti alloys
They'll bolt straight on. Peugeot fits Ford, but Ford doesn't fit Peugeot due to centre bore being too small.
Just be careful with the offsets...
thanks not sure what ofset they are but at about £40 for a set might be worth a try to see what they look like
You might have some trouble with the wheel nuts, as Peugeot normally use studs, also Peugeot usually use a flat faced stud whereas Ford use a chamfered nut, you may have to either have the peugeot wheel cut for the ford nuts or get longer studs and flat nuts.

The peugeot's have a smaller hubnut so smaller centre and smaller holes in the centre of the wheels.
Fords have bigger centres due to bigger nuts (ooh err!) Which means the smaller hole on the peugeot wheels wont fit over.
look.s like i,ll go buy some ford alloys then thanks
Speaking from experience (I have Ford fitment wheels on my 306 Cabrio)
1. Ford wheels will fit on Peugeots with 20mm spacers to sort out the offset. Not sure whether the centre hole also has to be adjusted, but the
adaptor kits sort all this out for you.
2. Pug wheels will fit Ford hubs but will have 20mm extra offset - ie increase your track width by 20mm. This relates to Ford FWD offset - I've
heard RWD offset is different, but I've never been able to confirm/deny this.
3. Peugeot use flat headed bolts, Ford use tapered. Peugeot threads are also finer than Ford so you can't just use the Peugeot bolts. However,
Speedshack (www.speedshack.co.uk) sell Peugeot thread bolts with Ford tapers, and Ford threaded bolts with flat heads, for exactly this purpose.
Hope all that helps!
Chris
I've used Peugeot wheels on my Locost with no problems, they even have tapered seats. The centre holes are BIGGER than Fords so they fit over the
hubs. Mine were off a 405 Mi16 so the offset was 29, with 10mm spacers they're spot on for RWD. (Escort NOT Sierra)
