Ellistons Kit Parts - Help!!!
JC - 29/11/05 at 09:24 PM

I ordered a pair of reconditioned Cortina uprights/hubs from Kit parts - they phoned me a couple of weeks ago to tell me they where ready for collection but I delayed as I was waiting for some calipers to exchange. Had to pay up front! Tried to contact them today - number unobtainable and e-mails returned. Anyone know what has happened and any advice on getting either my money or parts back - I paid by cheque which i think has been cashed

From the listing on ebay.

"They also, annoyingly for them, have their phone and therefore internet out at the moment due to the finest efforts of BT. You can contact Tris Elliston direct on his mobile on 07910163844, explain that Jim gave you the number. He'll be happy to help you out. Hope you get what you are looking for, Thanks, Jim"

If they have their internet with BT, it might explain why the emails are bouncing as it could be an account problem.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the help - no joy on any of these numbers but I've asked the e-bay seller to help - I may pay them a visit anyway! Will keep you all informed!

Have received reply that says apparently they are moving premises and giving up breaking to concentrate on Kit Building, the person replying suggested I keep trying the land line, but also said he would be visiting them at the weekend - fingers crossed!!!

Just spoken to them on the phone - their lines are back up - collecting the stuff next week (I hope!!!!). Thanks again for all the help.
