Does anyone know if the Locost kit from MK is still available?
The one for £950 advertised on the old website.
Tried the new website and there seems to be no mention of it.
Cheers

(Yes I am hoping for a present from Santa)
I think so. Best bet is to give them a call. Wish they were making it when I started!

apparently you still have to do a lot of the work yourself and the chassis is smaller(I think) and th emk panels arent made for it
I got the feeling Mk dont really want to bother with them anymore
get yourself one of there proper chassis's and build the real deal!

Going round in circles again, my head hurts
Having just had to have a new boiler installed, my kit budget has now gone.
Hence the question about the MK Locost.
Wish I had some disposable income
Donations gratefully received
Merry Christmas all

The Tiger Avon Lowcost chassis is £520 and they do bodywork to fit it too.

The locost chassis is still available from MK and it's "book" size.
Which is smaller than all sierra based cars, and nearer to a cateringvan size.

Thanks Chaps
I still like the look of the Locost kit.
Merry Christmas

I, too prefer the dimensions of the 'book' Locost.
Most MK panels will fit, the only ones which don't are the side panels - which look better in Ally (IMO). The chassis is the same width as the
Locost, so scuttle, nose, bonnet, wings etc fit ok. I fitted rear panel also, but this needed minor mods.

The Indy nose cone is not an exanct fit on a book chssis. because the indy chssis is taller it sticks down about 1 inch bellow the chassis on my
car.
Close enough though.
