Rolled the car out of the garage today for the first time, bodywork all on, sat in it with the mock up dash, Mountney in hands, pressing my pedals, changing gear, making Vrooming noises - how excellent was that!
I bet you felt like you were 10 again didnt you Jasper?
Ya Big Kid
Nice one..........
Aww, I wanna do that but I'm a few months away from that stage I reckon.
Anyway, yours should be on the road by the Summer then?
Cheers chaps, the aim is to be ready in time for Le Mans, if we have no major set-backs we should do it.
Nice one bloke.
Taken any piccies of said glorious moment?

Congratulations old boy,
I seem to sit and make car noises ever time I go to the kit(slows down the work thou).
As well as piccy's we need video of the first start up
All the best Dan.
So we'll be seeing it at 'Box Hill' soon then !!
Jason
Just loads a few pictures of the rolling chassis if your interested!
looking good fella!
whats next to do on your list?
Wadders
you dont seem to have a lot of feedback on the pics yet, so heres one from me.
Looks really good so far!
Once you get the driveline and the exhaust on you will be able to drive it outa the garage rather the roll it.....that would be even better!

Just think, 9 months ago you put a post on here asking if you should build a Robin Hood!
Well done Jasper- an inspiration to those of us who started well before you and are now well behind you!
Cheers,
James

bob
Yeah best of luck with the SVA
Cheers guys (and Bob!).
Robin Hoods, what the hell are they?!?!?
Next is a little tidy up on the chipped paintwork, then it's onto the electrics and dash.... Wont be starting it for a while though I dont think, lots
more to do b4 then. My nice carbon fibre R1 exhaust (only £70!) is with the local blacksmith for a spot of shortening and stainless welding, he's
doing my custom rollbar as well.
Wish I'd been at the Staffs show, had to make do with Teddy Bears in Germany instead. Gonna have to make a special trip up to Premier Wiring to get my
switches v. soon.
If i have wiring from hell i'll meet you at premier,if youdo go its best to phone them 1st as its not like a shop
Yeah - spoke to them last week, I'll probably go Wednesday week, I'm goona spend this week planing it all and deciding what I need to buy!
