Has anyone recently ordered anything from locost limited?
I ordered a bonnet from them on Nov. 1st and still have not received the goods.
Recent phone calls have revealed that the company is in difficulty and would advise against placing any orders with them with a cash advance (my school did and the cheque was promptly cashed with no sight of the order!)
Needless to say I am very miffed!!!
Has anyone else experienced the same problems?

I have recently enquired about prices and the email reply from Mark Benton said that they were moving offices and I should deal direct with the factory. Maybe this has something to do with the delay?

Locost Ltd have gone into liquidation. Luego (who did all the work anyway) is still a going concern working from Longlands farm nr Peterborough. It seems that Locost owed Luego about £23k.

My opinion is that Locost stretched themselves too thin by sponsoring the 750 motor club race series and weren't paying Luego for the orders placed.

My mate and I were unfortunate enough to have an order of £2300 with them which we are now attempting to get the money back (from Barclaycard as Locost have no assets at all)

Tony at Luego has said that we can still get the parts from them if we want them. Depends if we get our money back I guess.
