what are the robin hoods like ? my mate wants a 7 on a budget and theres a nice robin hood he has seen for just under 4k

Is that for a kit or a finished car?
As an ex builder/owner..........
the kits are both cheap and very comprehensive, cheapest at the moment is the "lightweight" at about 2K but many have questioned its construction methods.
The 2B is VERY strong but fit quality is a little to be desired.
try the RobinHood owners club.
here
These guys are all very helpful and friendly and its by far the biggest and best club in all kit car land.

It may be the biggest but this one is the best.

the car is £3700 and if fully built and looks in good condition

graememk - 30/7/06 at 07:40 PM

you wont do much better for that money

theres a robin hood for sale in gloucester in a car dealers on the bristol road for £3500

To me, 3500 is big dough for a RH - I know the market doesn't agree with me but there you go. I have had two - one cost 1200 and the other cost 1800.

The car on the left cost 650 - I've spent about 100 quid on it so far. Fun needn't cost big money

There was a recent thread where someone mentioned that the 2B's torsional rigidity was tested and found to be very low, getting on for half that of a locost frame...

Is that the chassis shown in the pictures on your starter pack web page? It seems to be missing some important structural members around the engine bay?

How did you patent the wishbones, they look very simmilar to book items?
