Does it really send you blind?
Who said that?
I gave it up when I needed glasses...
Theres sometihng about them i just dont trust, i saw one open and revolving at a motor show a couple of years ago and it just looked like it would be
soooo unreliable, and expensive to rebuild

Ask some Mazda owners.
Edit: And of course some Norton owners. There have been others, but these are the most modern ones I can thing of.

Here's a pretty comprehensive report I had on my harddrive: http://www.iol.ie/~locoblade/mystuff/RotaryEngine-KYamamoto.pdf
Ive thought seriously bout several engines inc the RX8 engine. Figured it would be easy to service and few official reports of failures. However if you looking lightweight and performance then cue HellFire Phil...!
How about a bike engined Wankel car???
Norton produced some very fast and powerful engines for their race bikes some time ago, I am sure someone will come up with details.
(I am not clever enough on computer yet)

I'm not sure that there will be many spare Norton rotary engines around for the taking. As for the arguments that were around at the same time as
the Nortons, I don't think we have time.
But I think they were cheating.
Not cheating..........................exploiting the rules to the full!!!!!
PS compared to a piston engine they are actually simpler, but as usual with simplicity, the details make all the difference!
