Hey all

No doubt by now most of you have seen some of the posts ive been making with silly questions and such.

Are there local meets around the coventry birmingham area? I would love the chance to have a chat with a few guys(or girls dont mean to be sexist) that know what they are doign and can advise me on some of the finer details.

You can learn as much as you want through reading but nothing beats expeience. and i can ask as many questions as i want on the forms but nothing beats a chat in a pub.

so are there are local meets i can join and get to meet a few of you chaps?

You are more than welcome to come along to my West Mids Sylva Meet, JAG on here runs a Locost meet in these parts (see clubs and events section on here), and there is also a Westy meet that gets together at Hatton just outside Warwick.

I've joined up with the local Westy & Locost boys in the past and find them all to be a friendly bunch.

Hi you are always welcome to pop over and see us as we usually have various cars Ie westfields-locosts-sylvas-and LA golds-locost in various stages of build or preperation altho most of them are usually race cars and not road going but you will be able to see and get most questions answerd. just u2u if you want

MikeJ used to host a monthly meet in the ansty arms, on the first wednesday of the month.

There is also a west midlands meet which I think David Ashurst goes to.

Thanks for that - I was just about to do the same thing.

Why not pop along John, should be plenty of like minded people and hopefully be a car or two.

I'll try and get along (went to the sylva meet last month) but i have to go to China on saturday so might not have time.
