How's this for locost?
--> Berrien Warrior <--
It's a buggy-type car. The chassis (knockdown kit) sells for a little over $300 in the States. A donor Beetle can be had for very little money as
well.. looks like a lot of fun. I think there's only one agent in Europe, BillyBob's Buggy
Shop. First of all, I think that's a rediculous name. Who's gonna take a guy named Billy Bob seriously? I also hate his site which
doesn't look very professional at all. It lacks content as well as pictures. Oh well.. What I hate most though is the price of the chassis. Now I
can understand it's not cheap to ship those things over, but how the hell do you get from $300 to £699?! With the current exchange rate, that
comes to $1296!!
This sucks, even though 700 quid may not be all that expensive for a chassis*, I would feel totally ripped off.
Oh well, guess I'll keep looking for an unfinished seven project..
EDIT: *Actually, I changed my mind, 700 quid IS a lot of money for just a chassis. Especially considering you'll still have to assemble it
yourself.
That T-Buggy has to be the worst looking dune buggy ever and I can remember the first ones.
It's meant to resemble a T-Bucket which isn't everyones cup of T...
Cheers
it may well be meant to look like a t bucket, but communisms meant to work.... and i think you can see where i'm going with this. personally i
think the t bucket is a great looking car. its just behind the model A on the list in my head of classic fords ide like to get my hands on.
