Wanted engine number for 1.6 zetec, as mine has not got one and no way of recovering it. Also ready for sva. pre 95 as i dont need a cat on this engine.

I believe a trip to the scrap yard may be in order!

tried that carnt see from top and scrap dealer would not give me one of a log book.

There must be at least one 1.6 zetec lying about somewhere in the yards out your way. Have you tried the one on the Northampton Road, just over the A14? They were quite useful when I last went there.
