Yeah, saw that - bloody clever. So glad we exported all our skills to the middle east!

Saying that, I still wouldn't give you a quid for it, seeing what was underneath

?? It was billed as 'NEW' ??

JamJah - 24/12/06 at 11:51 AM

Real Time bill a lot as new. They had Grand Designs marked as such and we all know tthey are made and broadcast by Channel 4 first.

I think they mean new to them.

PaulBuz - 24/12/06 at 04:53 PM

amazing program, considering what they have to work with.
It's the old saying many hands make light work, although they prob. pay them pennies!
The thing that scared me was the homemade 6" wheel spacers....and I worry about bearing loadings with my 20mm spacers!!!

JoelP - 28/12/06 at 10:15 PM

its on again on discovery

steve m - 29/12/06 at 08:23 PM

I also saw it on last night , and pondered what the f**k was I watching !!

The paint removal service with broken hack saw blades, and the welding without any (goggles, mask, or shirt !!) has to be seen to be believed
and they drove the bare hulk at speed in the town!, and it was so ucking fugly

yet with red paint on, WOW fantastic

the following programme with the two seater white thing was quite disappointing IMHO

JoelP - 1/1/07 at 09:36 PM

veyr true steve, that white thing was a bit of a let down. The gearlever was just dumb, reverse somewhere under the drivers seat and 1st was over near the passanger wing mirror! Pretty shoddy once he started rushing it.

I just loved seeing them buy the engine and test run it on the floor..

then stick on the back of a rickshaw and get some old guy to peddle them all the way back
