zxrlocost - 2/1/07 at 11:09 AM

hi

got my live axle for my ST loco zx9r

ST reckon theyve got to modify the axle for the chassis and its £60

just checking this thing that costs 60 pound isnt something really simple

as its these £60 a go things that add up

The mods are to add three brackets.

One each end of the axle tube to hold the two trailing arms and one on the off-side end of the axle for the Panhard rod.

You could make the brackets and weld them on yourself (if you have a big welder 160amp plus) but for £60 it's not worth the hassle.

£60 sounds a bargin, just done the same on my new axle and the 130 amp snap on welder was at max,

They should also put on some handbrake brackets if needed.
