Can somebody pls tell me the thread size?

This is a standard book setup IIRC it is a transit track rod end ball joint. Can somebody tell me what size thread it is that tightens the ball joint onto the upright?

M12 1.75 methinks.

depends on the manufacturer of the ball joint. they all use different threads.

It is the same thread as on the ford Ghia wheel nuts

M12 x 1.5 in that case (ford wheel nut thread). Which is one of the iso fine versions of the M12 thread.

Std pitch for M12 is 1.75 and std M12 fine is 1.25.
