missing at about 6200 rpm quit badly, have ajusted timming, mixture and changed edis unit makes no difference.anybody got any idears

stupid question but could it be rev limiter coming into play?

Plugs , H.T. leads , air leak , faulty injector , a few ideas to be going on with. Check the basics first .
