Just looking through the new book and on the jig for the front bottom wisbone there is a small part as seen below. how high is it supposed to be as
there isnt any diamensions for the height just the length/width etc
Also what does the inside diameter need to be for the front of the rear upright (see below) so it can take a sierra hub? I'm currently having
these put into program's at work so they can be cut and need to know in the next 7 days but i don't have a sierra hub at the minute to
measure.

Regarding the platform for wishbone assembley, Nearest side to you would be 10mm, and furthest 18.5mm, which gives the 10 deg required. Or at least thats what ive worked it out at. HTH Ray.

Looking at that picture of the rear upright, i'd say the diameter need to be 84mm, it's written just above the script in the lower left hand
corner.

Ray's Dimensions are correct, 10mm lower and 18.5mm upper.

Is there also a problem with RU7, the detail drawings in the back spec it at 10mm thick but in the assembly (page 70)drawing it looks to be 3mm.
I dont understand the handing note on page 70 either as the part looks symmetrical to me. Should that be something to do with drums or disk?
RU7 should be 10mm, as detailed in the appendix and the plates RU8 aren't symetrical, the hole centres are 94mm apart on the left and 90mm apart
on the right as you view the offside upright, and the nearside upright is the opposite hand.

No it's with Haynes at the moment, In the museum. I'm using it for Le Mans this year though, and you're only 1/2 an hour from me.
You'l fit fine, I'm a BFF (ask anyone of the kindly gentlemen on here) I drove it down to Haynes with the standard GRP seats in it with no
problems, it's quite roomy.
Remind me after Stoneleigh and I'll pop over.

Looking at it, I think they might, but I don't have a width for the MX5 seats.
The maximum width of seat is 445mm, so if anyone knows what width the Mazda seats are, we'll be in business!

I have just had a look in the old book, it has a similar number of pages but there is SO MUCH MORE information in your book. I know it has the famous
cleavage picture near the back but I would rather see a good detail drawing any day. I have the internet and a good woman to take care of the fleshy
bits.
Respect to Ron's book, but yours is a proper effort. You should be proud of it.
Your kids will probably wearing Jimmy Choo's shoes on the back of this (ask you missus if you dont know what they are).
