The first thing i heard: "wow its starts just like a C5"
Getting close, looking good!
Is the front of the car high, or is it a trick of the camera?
David
Sinclair C5 or Citroen?
Limon, Citroen
It uses a wafer card as key and a start button to start the start procedure
mhhh dunno
only know that my sump isn't realy high!!
and that maybe my front springs aren't BEC... anyway i guess that its quet normal...
(want to say i hope i don't need to go any lower)
Tks
How did you manage the Key less ignition?
Sounds interesting
Looking very good.

it all has to do with electronics...
i made a PCB wich does all the coneccions wich normally are soldered in the loom..
sow yes i connect the kill switch there with a relais, and i do the bank angle sensor... etc..
just to get control on the MCU nothing more nothing less...
i also have a contact relais wich turns on all the cars fuse boxes.. (3) 1 of the bike 2 extra...
if the key isn't the right one it wont accept and make the connections infact it even doesn't response...
then when you hit the start button it puts
the kill switch on wich then enables the MCU of the bike to do the Pressure build up in the system, then it makes the starter relais wich starts
fireing the engine... when a rpm reading is grabbed wich is above the starter limit it shutsoff the starter and rereads the rpm.. if its anygood it
marks engine as running and the button becomes shutdown button
In short : Beautifull but timeconsuming (the first time)
Tks
Thats a shame I was Kinda hopeing you had bought a kit from somewere!
the electonic part is a bit beyond me.
Oh well maybe one day ,well done to sort that out though.
Just bought myself a VFR800 last week!
Hope you have as much fun with the motor in a car as I do on this thing!
Looks great with some good engineering principles put into practice.
Chris.
Hope to see it at a show one day....
