Is there anyplace known where are some trailer plans to be able to build a good trailer.. its not that i cant its just that time is a issue and i don't like to reinvent the wheel

i like the idea of the 3mm channel, but i dont like angle iron at all - he's had to use 8mm thick to get the strength reqiured. Having it bolted has pros and cons, good for storage if dissembled but not great for piece of mind! Nice piece of kit though, but im not sure its worth doing to save just £300, as the home made part will be reflected in the resale value.

whats your reason to use brakes??

and is there any reason wy i coudn't use disc on the trailer? i mean to say what if the cable would be connected to the parking handle on a rear brake caliper would it work??

Im not using brakes on mine, the main reasons being cost and the fact im towing with a van. A braked hitch, braked hubs and cables would've added £150-£200 to the cost, and provided my tow vehicles weighs more than 1500kgs (under UK law) i dont have to have them.

I have no idea unfortunately, sounds possible but i cant tell you myself.
