Interesting curio, or munter?
Browser - 20/6/07 at 09:25 PM

Browsing the 'Bay and saw this for sale. Now, I know that the late Seventies and early Eighties were a rather different era for the kit industry and I thank god that it has improved so much over the last few years, so is there any place at all for something like this today? SVA'd probably give you a peptic ulcer and it's still gonna sound like a VW Beetle when you've finished. Plus I'd imaging it'll need a horrendous amount of fettling to get the GRP anything like.
What say you chaps/chapesses?

I say burn it!

Yup, a file known as B1N

Jon ... when does it stop?

It's a Siva Saluki <20 made so rare.

If you ignore the weird doors it can be made to look quite smart in a mad 70's kind of way.

http://freespace.virgin.net/dr.dean/who1/othersivas.htm

As it's on a beetle chassis no SVA required.

The middle pic in the top set on your linked page is the same as one of the eBay ones

I noticed that as well. No idea what's going on unless it's been on ebay a lot with the same pictures.

If I were thinking of space framing a 70's wedge it would have to be a S1 Esprit with a LS1 V8, much more attractive car.

Good job the owner tells us it's a "not finish projek", might not have spotted that!

James - 21/6/07 at 11:11 AM

having seen some of the finished ones done, I reckon it looks quite cool.

Give it a nice orange 'Lambo' type colour and it would certainly stand out in the car park!

Cheers,
James
