Afternoon all,

I'm feeling a.ittle proud withmyself so i thought i'd share it, and say a big thank to those who answered my annnoying little questions over the past few days

Well my girlfriend had her viva for her Phd on wednesday so i booked it and the rest of the week off to work on the car.

(Oh she passed, and is now making me call her doctor all the time)

I've managed to trim most of the interior, make the boot panels, paint the fronat and rear arches, mock up the dash ready for making, and various other little bits. It almost looks like a car now, I just need tofit the dials and test them, (think i'm gonna get confused on the speedo so be prepared for questions)

Looks nice and tidy, only question I have is should the vertical sides come in like that at the bottom or have a long V strip to space out so it follows the profile of the top tube ?

I,m homebrew so mine has the latter... I do not know what is right for yours it just looks a little stressed at that angle !

Mine's done like that but riveted to the outside of the tubes. It makes the car look thinner from the front. The aluminium bends easily enough and isn't stressed enough to bother the rivets.

Looks like you're making really good progress Neil. It's come on leaps and bounds since last time I saw it.

oooh i like what you've done there!! what is it round wood profile to the right radius so you just have to put foam and vinyl??

might be copying you once i get to the dash stage if u dont mind

Looks great, is that you're own paint-job?

I like a dash which hits the tunnel.

BTW: robertst, he has still the wheel on the wrong side
