Is this considered a "no no" or is it okay to go buy a kit and haggle or try and get some extras thrown in.
Anyone haggled and how much of a deal did you get?
cash is king
just phone ask his best price then knock £100 off it and tell him hes got a deal if he takes it
if not give him your name and phone number and tell him if he changes him mind give you a call SAY BYE AND HANG UP AT THIS POINT(bet you the £100 he
calls you back )
Get yourselve up to MNR and take advantage of the £400 off they are currently offering!
I haggled. No harm in it. Worst case is your chosen kit supplier says no but im sure most can offer something. If done professionally you can still get a good deal and maintain credibility for future assistance and after sales. Same rules for any customer / supplier.
All prices are negotiable.....
Phil
try to find another future builder who is willing to 'go in' with you and you can tempt them with the sale of 2 ( or more if you can
organise it) kits for a better deal
No deal and you BOTH walk away.
SHOW THEM THE MONEY
(written in a Tom Cruise* styleeeee)
Prices are always adjustable!!
Obviously the degree depends upon overheads....
*(before he became lunatic jumping off the couch crazy fool)
This is good news for me then. I just didn't want to turn up and offend a small company by asking for a discount.
I have the cash and the fact MNR are offering a discount will make a good bartering tool. I'm not expecting to walk away with a half price kit
but want to stretch my funds a little
show them the money, loadsa money.
Any price is in fact an offer of sale.
The same rules apply to any other price. Get yourself in the right frame of mind and imagine that you're in a Turkish market.

Thats a really good deal. I'm just not a huge fan of the nose cone styling on the MNR.
I have been to Egypt a few times and when in the markets its usually just "NO" "NO" "GO AWAY" lol
