Looks interesting - although SWMBO might not take too well to the oven curing method

Powder coating is a simple process..... you'ld just need to buy a cheap 2nd hand oven on Ebay.........

i think this has been discussed before - you certaily wold not want to eat any food cooked in the same oven afterwards.

I vaguely remember a kit car mag, buying one and saying they were going to test it. can't remember which one though.

They had a stand at Newark Show, looked a fairly impressive piece of kit

i got one, it's very good and very messy makes a lot of dust.

i now use 45 gallon drum with a window in the side and glove like a sand blaster.

to cook it i use a baby belling cooker because i dont have room for a full size oven, also i don't have a 30 amp supply to workshop like you would for a proper cooker.

would put some pics up but batteries flat in cam?

but this kit does a good job. thinking about the eletro plating kit from frost now.

Have you tried a heater with larger items Martin. This thread has got me thinking about PCing some wheels.

SWMBO will not be happy if we can't ever use the oven again. lol.

You can buy second hand built in ovens for spare change, these are around 2.5Kw and use a13amp plug

Maybe ill put 1 on my christmas list .

Could you get away with a big gas barbeque to heat it and cure???

Have one of these around instead of a oven what do you think?

I am getting one for xmas myself and will be doing my own chassis with it. The guys from electrostatic magic recommend i get myself a 3kW patio heater to do this.
