I heard there was supposed to be a remake of The Prisoner, is this true?
PBS started airing the old episodes this month, man what a strange show.
Kar120c sure sounds good in the opening credits though.
Just wondering Fletch
They can't get mokes any more so they are using these instead.
Actually I was working on my back brake and the sun was in my eyes so I wedged a brolly in for a bit of shade.

Pete ,
You've just stolen my thunder !!
The next incarnation of the 'Flintstones Hood ' was going to be an umbrella fixed to the handbrake lever.........................
Stupid minds think a like
I was working on some gullwing doors but the damn things kept flying off(the gulls that is) so it looks like being pigeon wing doors for me.
Where's that bag of corn?.
On the Prisoner front, just wait till the end , it gets even more wierd. Nearly caused riots among the fans over here.
yours, Pete.
What is PBS?? The prisoner is a top show and would like to see it again
PBS = 'Public Broadcasting System' or 'Public Brainwashing System', depending on your politics - government-supported TV in the
States
The Prisoner is also available on tape; maybe you could pester your local library into carrying it.
I remember losing interest in the original airing. Missed an important show or two and didn't know what the hell was going on. Will have to
watch it all again to see what confounded my teen-aged brain
Sevens are very rare in the US, and most people have never seen one in the metal (holding hand up while typing). Everyone who has seen the show
remembers KAR120C, though
I googled The Prisoner and got a surprising number of hits, mostly seven related. One fan site talked about a movie remake. They were joking that Patrick
McCoohan (O.K I know I did'nt spell that right)would play #2. And how the resort it was filmed at still exist.
I wonder if he got to keep KAR120C?
Oh,it's certainly the Public Brainwashing System...(friggin liberals!)
I sort of remember the show as a child, because I was afraid of "nelly" the giant white gooey ball (to be played by Anna Nichol Smith in the
movie)who retrieves him when he escapes.
Thanks,Fletch

The location for 'The Prisoner' ,went there last year , magical place , would make a good place for a 'Locost/Mk meet.
Only about 260 miles from Surrey.....................

Anybody who understands The Prisoner will have no trouble with the plans in Ron's book.
