Im looking for some caliper paint and was just wondering what sort of temperatures brake calipers actually get up to?
I just dont want to buy some to have it melt away on me.

Certainly too hot to touch.

Halfords and others sell special caliper paints which presumably won't melt.

From memory when testing a Group N rally car we recorded around 220°C max
