find a model shop near you.
buy some there..chances of getting them un broke through the post...remote.

you could get 1/8th sheet, 3 or 4 inch wide and cut your own .

where abouts are you, i have loads.

Search for model shops. You must have a local model shop near you or look on the net. I know of a really good one but can't remember the name!

PVA white wood glue is good. Cyno for instant stick but be quick!! or 5 / 10 minute epoxy for super strong fix.

If you have a hobbycraft near you they sell it.

I use a small hot melt glue gun - be careful though it hurts on skin

oh yeah, forgot to mention.

i would use a thin or medium thickness cyano.

Would suggest hardwood for the roll cage, RAC spec.

Medium thick super glue.

Not gel, or the stuff like water.

If you treat the outside of balsa wood with a thin coat of cyano, it becomes suprisingly strong.

isn't the purpose of this exercise to use balsa, untreated, because it's mechnical properties are like that of scaled down steel?
