It looks as though your front drivers side wheel is off the floor yet there seems to be no 'droop' in the suspension, as though the suspension is rigid. Is that right or am I seeing summat wrong?
doesn't look like a locost to me, its a FORD!
check out the badge on the bonnet.
Has it got any suspension on it?
Typically cars built for offroading have a lot of suspension travel - yours looks like it has little/none!!!

a limited slip diff would have helped. A picture of the front end doesn't let us diagnose your traction problems in your RWD car. As stated already, I would expect more suspension movement at the front.
I think the photo is a bit misleading - there is some droop but not a hooge amount as seen by the lifted front wheel - look at the distance between
the coils on the front springs.
The light weight and road tyres don't help much either.
Damn... and just after I sold all my spare Land Rover wheels and tyres on Ebay.

Well that's not very good, is it. Guy looks for a bit of sympathy and all he gets is a lecture about his front suspension not having enough
travel (which I agree with BTW, but am much too shy to say so)

They're also not much good for family holidays or as snow plows.
Anybody else know of anything else they're no good for.

Must admit - I had a spot of bother getting moving yesterday.. had parked on a gravel car park and as soon I touched the acellerator I showered the
rest of the car park in gravel! (lucky no other cars in range!) had to pull away very gingerly! which is odd because so far I have been unable to get
the wheels spinning on tarmac! (something to do wth the 245 wide rubber? )

They don't float very well so no good for water skiing.......
Not the best for pulling into lay-bays with the women you love, especially with fibre glass race seats

Are you sure? (no, I am not volunteering)
Most have a PU sealed tub that is going to be quite watertight together with being lightweight and the bouyancy of the tyres it may well float, add an outboard engine and off you go.
