Hi All,
I'm a bit down.
I just got offered a Pace Dry sump kit, tank, pump, oil cooler, remote filter the works, and a set of duplex vernier timing gear for my xflow that
I'm building up to go into the kit over winter mods.
all the above for £340
Worse thing is I can't afford it. My good lady has just had a letter saying her student overdraft is goin down by £500 this month, so My bonus
money is going to have to go on that instead!
Not happy, now i know i want both these things for the engine, so It means hoping for anther bargain, or spending full money!
Boo Hoo
Many thanks
Neil
I know the feeling. I got paid earlier and I said to the missus take the money you need this month for the bills etc and transfer the rest to me.
She told me I owe her another £87!!!!!

Don't be down, you have great looking car there.
Consider the student financing a shrewd investment.
Why not perk yourself up with a winter project like this:- mid 90's 1.8 zetec Escort out of tax and test for £100. (yes really) Get the engine
out and sell/scrap the rest = free engine. Be cute selling bits and make a profit!
£50 set of bike carbs, homemade inlet manifold and £80~£100 for megajolt = 150bhp
Which all equals £1/bhp max! Value or what??
