More car bits to clutter up the garage.......... what a complete waste of money. Dont you dare leave it on the dining room table. Havent you got enough car bits yet??

come on mookaloid! i know what it is. no offence taken though. looks like one for a crossflow too.

it's just that's the response i usually get from swmbo. i was teasing since he'd come on here to find people that appreciated it, hence the sticky out tongue.

Looks like a Lolocost one ? if it is then check to make sure the flange is straight before you fit it and all the welding is done. Guess how I know??

jacko - 29/6/08 at 12:10 PM

Looks like a bit of old pipe to me and it will never fit a pinto

worX - 29/6/08 at 12:19 PM

Total crap - That port spacing is all wrong for a FireBlade...

Sorry tom - In my defence I'm a bit hung over today and didn't spot the tongue - although I should have known anyway

Cheers

Mark

indykid im hoping it fits the crossflow (he said thats what it was off) otherwise ill be looking for a new engine

whats the best thing you guys used for polishing such a specimen?

indykid - 29/6/08 at 01:50 PM

autosol and time. if you can use someone elses time, so much the better.

mine was worse than that when i started and it came up eventually. any rough bits, use wet and dry and wd40 or 3in1 to get it back flat. it's then much easier to polish.

If the flange is distorted you can bolt up to head with bits of wood in the low spots ao cut the flange so the two end pipes are seperate from the inner pair.

That's odd Chris, I sent you a couple of U2U's a week or so ago, and you've not read either. I think it might be something to do with the "_" in your user name as in my outbox it shows as "."

If it fits a crossflow and she makes you chuck it out I'll give it a good home.
