Morning all
Hopefully someone here can help. Just bought the latest kit car magazine with the blitz off roader on the cover.
On page 8 there is a small photo at the bottom of the page of a black and orange car with full roll cage.
What is it? is it a kit car and if so what make and model?
Someone here is bound to know.
Cheers
Nigel

So does any current manufacturer do anything similar?
Looked at the MEV rocket but don't really like the looks.
Yes there is a company in the states that can import 'sand rails' but as for the bodywork you may have to make your own. I have asked before
in this country and all I got was that the SVA killed them off though in reality there is no reason for one not to pass, I think they just gave up.
One point is they are all VW Beetle based.
Look up sand rails, & dune buggys and you'll see what their like.
Is this what your meaning - the uva canam

there was one version which had huge vented side pods and a V8 in it, not to sure how it sold as it must have been a pig to drive

The Can-Am cost a fortune; too much. That's why it didn't sell.
Have a look at this Not cheap.
wide choice of engines, sva-able
Kr4 is even better looking.
to me none have the sleekness of a sand rail, all rather dumpy buggies
this is exactly what I mean, problem is they're in the U.S

As I can't weld this wouldn't be an option at the moment
