Building a car transport trailer

would this size of caravan bed be any good for me to build a trailer,,, do you think?

length 4m70 approx, width 2m10 approx

I'm not sure if this is long enough? i suppose i could extend it a bit if required?

Nobody has any spare plans/blueprints i could steal do they????

Can anyone advise on the dimensions of there trailers?

cheers

size should be ok my flatbed is 4.2m x2.0m and has carried impreza's and sierras.you'll need to do quite a bit of strenghening as a caravan chassis is usually very light weight.

It seem you are the only one out there with a trailer on this forum

The runners on my trailer are about 12ft long and give a bed width of just over 6ft. I didn't respond earlier as I couldn't be *rsed calculating it in metric!
