Not to finish the car but to update my website
I've got loads of photos but can't be arsed to type it up and upload it
Mr MK9R,
I have used your website as a source of guidance, inspiration and quality control during my MK Indy build so far, as both your car and site appear to
be of a very good quality.
However I am fast approaching the same state of build as currently shown on your website. Please, Please, Please, Please update your site with more
photos and words of wisdom to help propel me onwards with my own build.
Is that any help??????
Cheers
Nick
cheers
your site is really good,
I had not even considered BEC before reading it!!
C'mon get moving!!!!
Definately a cracking site, many many people on here reference your site as a source of info and i myself have been pointed towards it on more than
one occasion......and not by you either
It is the best way to share your experiences and working methods with the other builders out here and you seem to have a weath of innovation and
engineering solutions available on your site.............dont stop now!
He asked for motivation - lets not massage his ego too much
seriously though - good site - V useful - but we need that update for further inspiration...... (that better now?)
and have tried fitting front bars a'la dax rush yet? - if so how did it work out ?

LOL guttersnipe!!
Maybe if you spent less time typing up how to fibreglass you may have finished yours!! Although i wouldn't have been able to
use your info then!!

Dont go updating it too soon as it makes me think that Im catching you up.
Im just starting the electrics and my car looks like a rats nest, so on second thoughts you had better pull your finger out.
Looking forward to the continued story
Gordon
Mine has looked like Lorraine Kellys growler for months now, i just keep putting it off and doing something else. Problem is when i went to "trim" the grpwler last wednesday i had totally forgot what was what
yeah - I thought id better write up the grp bit as Id forgotten all the stuff I shoulda put up on the site from the first 2 years of build!
In a month or so when I do my front wings and running boards, I will have to read it for a refresher course!

Well Mr MK9R,
I've just revitalised my site and moved to a new host, so...
"Oi! That man! Get yer arse in gear and get your site up-to-date!"

David
(see website button below to see the new stuff)
Very nice and inspirational site and on the same subject, does anyone know who's site THIS is because it needs an update and there's no email address on there for me to give him a nudge.
I think he is called Mark
Dax style bars, please tell more
Northy
Dax have put a bumper bar on each front corner to hold thier indicators and side lights.
This allows you to lower the headlights below the line of the bonnet and also excludes everthing behind the bar for SVA conformity. If you have a look
on the DAX site you will see what Im talking about.
Im definitely going to try it
Gordon
They normaly fall off just after the SVA
Cheers,
Yeah I know what they do and what they're for. I was thinking of going down the same route, but haven't got round to doing anything yet. Are
you expecting to do anything in the near future?
Cheers
I was going to try and knock something up in the next couple of months. I will post it when done.
Gordon
Northy - would be interested if you got bars fitted to the Avon... Toying with the idea at the mo with my Avon but can't really try anything till i have got a bit further in the build....
I've got my arse into gear and started to update it. I haven't uploaded yet, but should be done soon.
Thanks guys!
