Evening All,
Sorry if this has been covered previously.
I've just fitted the upper ball joints to my Indy front suspension. When I attempt to tighten the nut inside the "mushroom insert" the threaded part of the ball joint revolves
. Could anyone please let me know how to tighten up the nut. Thanks.

You need to hold it in tightly so that the taper stops it going round, it usualy works if you give it a tap with a rubber mallet.

Failing that you could file a slot in the top and lock it with a screwdriver if you can still get a ring spanner on to tighten it up.

Thanks for the help. 2 taps with the rubber mallet worked a treat.
