hi my mate has an vw golf mk3 td and is having problems as once the car is hot the engine wont start but is fine when engine is cold

has any one got any ideas ??

Faulty glow plug relay maybe?

Could also be a faulty engine temp sender... I know this was a known issue on the petrol VW's of about this time.
