My trusty 9 year old laptop was borrowed by our childminder and i can only presume she has downloaded something & it now says that my version of
windows XP has not passed windows genuine validation ??
It was installed a couple of years ago by my dad who had a genuine disc at the time.
I dont mind too much but my desktop is now permanently black & if i try to put a photo as my desktop background, when i reboot the computer, it
has removed the picture and i have a plain black screen again....
Any ideas how to sort this ?
Regards Andy
Just do a Google earch for WGA removal - lots of options - some downloads and some a process to follow.
