OT combining images to make a timelapse movie?
tegwin - 3/1/07 at 05:25 PM

My digital camera came with a nice bit of software which allows me to take images at set intervals using my computer and camera together....

I dont however have any way of compiling these images into a movie...

Does anyone have any ideas of any software that will allow me to sequence the images to make a video?

Thanks.

Do you have windows movie maker?

If so you should be able to import the stills and drop them into a movie sequence and then set the time period between each transition.

Alternaively if you're using Windows XP, then simply put all the stills in the same folder numbered in sequence and then use the "view as a slideshow feature". I think you can also set the time lapse on the slideshow as well.

Windows Movie Maker can do this.

Find it in Programs>Accessories>WMM.

You could also download a shareware gif animator program. I could recommend >

<Gif Construction Set Pro 2.0a>

My graphics program produces animated gifs from a series of images if that is what you are looking for, like the ones used by some for avatars on here. There's a free older version of it on Serif site , it's the Photoplus one.
