There are a few different ford twin cam engines out there - Zetec, Duratec, DOHC to name a few. Do you know which one it is, or which car it comes out of?

Better leave it go for zetec 16v.

I don't know too much about this engine but people have used them before in 7s so they do work. I think weight and lack of tuning parts tends to put some people off, but they are nice cheap power, especially if one comes free with your donor car.

i was thinking of putting in a 1.6 zetec once it was built and running but dont know wethher to just stick to the 2.0i dohc

If you're on a tight budget and the DOHC is in good nick (doesn't need a re-build) then I'd stick with that. If money's not so important or the DOHC needs work, then I'd go with a Zetec instead.

cheers bilbo, but does the air box and pipes get junked and stick an induction kit on it
