Hmmmm, interesting. I remember having a phone conversation with Ken Attwell many years ago, it didn't go very well. I think he had plenty of orders at the time, so wasn't interested in answering questions about his product

As far as the auction is concerned, depending on the price it goes for it could be a good thing. Body is scrap, obviously, but I understand that KVAs are standard GT40 sizes so a body could be sourced from elsewhere, or one could maybe come up with something different. The seller hasn't said which gearbox it is, I would want to know that before bidding

Looks like a Renault Transaxle with an adapter plate.

I would want to see if i could get hold of some dimensions for the chassis as well. The heat from the fire would more than likely have twisted the chassis.

Its going to be a complete nut and bolt rebuild, i would imagine. Gaskets, seals, gaitors, Ali components, bushes etc would all be affected in a fire like this.
