Info: Free CAD software
I just thought I would let everyone know that PTC have released a personal version of CoCreate.
I haven't actually tried it as I have Pro/Engineer, but if their past software is anything to go buy this should be amazing!!
Linky
Download it, model some car bits, post some pics, let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Dan

co-create... Sounds a bit too much like procreate... which is fun...
Will give it a try though

Whatever it takes...
I just had a quick go with it.
Its really easy to use, abit like sketchup but its geared more towards rapid modelling and product development of engineering applications...
I like it!!

Go Create used to be quite big. Afaik its parameterless contrary to parametric suites like Inventor?

I tried the free version. The tutorials worked OK and I was able to draw the tube centre lines of the Lotus P3 Space Frame as described in
'Lotus The Early Years' but was unable to extrude a circle to make tube (though the tutorial worked!).
Later I tried to open the drawing file that I had started but it failed so I gave up.
I think that I will stay trying to use Google SketchUp though it doesn't handle tube intersections well.
