everything is against me!
ffs, my retest is on Tuesday and everything is falling apart.
i got my exhaust finished with additional silencing two weeks and tried to get the emissions done last thursday, killed two gas testers lol.
went to finish the emissions off today (i realised i went + instead of - on the power commander and that's what got it so hot it killed the gas
testers.
start the car and i see black smoke coming from the front of the can, the resin on the carbon fibre has melted so the front of the can is all floppy
and come away from the core.
ive also been waiting for foam to come for a week so i can pad my steering wheel and also waiting for rose jointed wishbones from Mk so i can some
caster on the front to get some self centering, they are waiting on rose joints and i cant get any locally either so its not looking good!
Ive got until the 4th of march to get my retest done!
i feel like dropping a match in the petrol tank!

Small fish mate. Mines started back in sept with an engine that jumped timing and lunched itself.
Followed by 2 months of trying to get megasquirt to work (rewired the system twice for interference purposes) to no avail and finally found a dry
soldered joint 3 weeks ago. Now it's going ok and test in just over 2 weeks.
I guess what I'm trying to say is stick with it and it'll be fine.
Then again I know how you feel RIGHT now.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
